Quick References and Reviewers. What are these?
In the 1970s, there were no “Quick References”. But rather we make our own outlines to prepare for tests. We called them “pointers for review”.
It was interesting very time consuming. We were able to cover as much topic as we can.
Most often our teacher provides the content and scope of the materials to study and prepare for the test. There is no surviving relic of this. The term “pointers for review” is seldom or no longer used. It’s no a common term, it came it pass or a passe.
This has evolved to what we now commonly call as “Quick References”. There are now some offshoots at the time of this article.
Here are some… For QSG (Quick Start Guide). Please refer to this link Quick Start Guide.

· Quick reference guides – commercialize form, well-prepare by expert
· Cheat sheets – it can be prepared by anyone. The descendant term for the early pointers for reviewer or reviewer sheets.
